On Saturday, January 27th there is the 14th Annual Chili Cook-off in memory of Andrew Lawrence at Retrofit Company, starting at 4 PM. Andrew was a 6th grade student at St. Mary’s in 2003 when he was struck and killed by a car while riding his bicycle. The Chili Cook-Off helps fund the Andrew Lawrence Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year (5) $1000 scholarships are given to Catholic students that are pursuing a college degree. If you are able, please attend this event in support of the family and the scholarship fund.

Students & Teachers 4th-8th Grade were “Wowed” today as some of our peers participated in the SMS Annual Spelling Bee! Congratulations to all who shared their academic talents with us today! A huge shout out to Spelling Bee Champ Noah Hodgman!! Noah had to spell 3 words correctly in the final round of the Spelling Bee to take home the Blue Ribbon! Way to Go Noah!
