Beginning this Monday 1/25/16, several of the 8th Grade students ( Liam Dublin, Zach Jerpbak, Hunter Menden, possibly others) will be selling bracelets at school to raise money for Cancer Awareness. These bracelets will be sold all week long at Pillsbury, the St. Marys Office and at the concession stand at St. Marys during basketball games. There are several wrist bands to choose from and the price is only $2.00 per band.
On Thursday January 28th the Boys Basketball Teams will play a double header vs Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton beginning at 4:30. The next night on Friday the 29th the girls will play a double header against J-W-P as well. These games start at 4:30 also. I would like to encourage each of you to deck yourselves out in as much Pink as you can possibly wear and come to support these teams as we raise money in the fight to Cure Cancer. Each team member will be wearing Pink during these games. They each felt that it would be a good way to show their support. With that they have each decided to donate $20.00 of their own money to wear Pink.
All of the profit from these events will be donated to the, "From the Heart" organization. They are a local group who use the money to help local families that are in need of assistance when a family is battling in their personal fight against Cancer.
We would Love to see all of you at these games. Please come. Let's pack the Jerry Kent Gymnasium and show our support for these teams as they give it their all in this ongoing fight against this disease.
Thank You and we will see you at the games.
