Here are the results of our games over the last two weeks.
On 1-4 a hybrid of 6th, 7th and 8th Graders traveled to Glenville Emmons and walked out with a solid 42-21 victory.
On 1-5 the Knights hosted Lyle Austin Pacelli for B and A games. The B Team played a very good game and walked away with a 49-31 win. The A Team played a very good game against a tough opponent and also came away with a 54-43 victory.
On 1-8 we traveled to Webster Holy Cross. Instead of a 6th, B and A game like the first time, we played our 6th Grade Team and B Team. The 6th Graders playing against the Webster B Team played very well and walked away with a 32-7 victory. The B Team played the Webster A Team and played an awesome game and came out with a 45-31 win
On 1-11 the B and A Teams traveled just down the road to play Medford. The B Team started strong and were up 31-4 at half time. They cruised to a 46-24 win. The A Team faced a much stronger opponent and mangled to walk out victorious with a 42-31 victory.
On 1-12 the 6th Grade and B Teams traveled to Janesville Trinity Lutheran. In the 6th Grade game, the lads played well and came out victorious with a 30-9 win. In the B Team game the boys overwhelmed the JTL Squad and walked out with a 41-12 win.
On 1-14 the 6th Grade Team traveled to Faribault to face FRB Lutheran. It was a lopsided affair with the boys up 30-5 at halftime and they walked out with a 50-5 win. They showed great sportsmanship through the whole game.
On 1-15 the B Team and A Team traveled to Randolph to play in a rematch with an extremely talented Randolph Team. The B Team playing with out an injured starter played motivated basketball and came away with a 34-23 win. In the rematch of their toughest game to date the A Team played very well in a game that came down to the wire and walked off the court victorious with a 36-34 victory.
This week the B Team plays at St. Dominic's of Northfield and Thursday is a rematch with Glenville. This night will be crazy sock night. Please join us at the game and where the craziest socks that you own.
Though there are other games coming up before this I would like to remind everyone that January 28th the boys host JWP and the following night the girls squads tale on JWP as well. These games are being played to raise money for Cancer Awareness. The girls and boys teams will be wearing pink to honor everyone who is dealing with this illness. Please wear all the pink that you have in the closet and join us both nights for these games. We would love to have a huge crowd to show our support for the cause.
