After-School Makerspace

Our first After-School Makerspace session will begin  Tuesday, Oct. 2nd and will run through  Tuesday, Nov. 20th from 2:45-3:45 pm.

This is an opportunity for  students in grades 2-5 to come in for an hour after school (on Tuesdays) to explore and create with the materials in our SMS Makerspace: Lego wall, magnetic tiles, wall-mounted mini car tracks, Perler beads, Osmo interactive iPad devices, Sphero programmable robots, etc.  

We will have free time to explore creating with the materials and also participate in guided projects that introduce fundamental elements of STEAM. (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics).
