October 12, 20186th grade students in Mrs. Shaner's and Mrs. O'Connor's class have been reading Broken Blade by William Durbin. They have also been learning about the history behind the story. Last week, Mr. Durbin made an appearance to the school to talk with the students about his book, how he write historical fiction books, and his career as an author.
