January 10, 2016Last Saturday, January 2nd, our Robotics team attended a scrimmage event at the Albert Lea Community College. We were there to learn more about a competition event and to get some assistance with our robot. There were 5 other teams there so we talked with them and watched as they got their robots ready. We then were able to watch as they competed at throwing balls into a basket. It was great to see other teams and talk to the members about what works and what does not. At the start of the day our robot did not move at all. By the time we left it was running and programed to drive around and pick up a ball. Our team (and I) are learning a lot this first year!
