Our 2
nd and 7
th graders help our school community celebrate All Saints Day in a unique way, to allow us all to learn more about how these saints touched lives. The SMS 2
nd graders will lead mass, dressed as the saint they researched. After mass, they will present their saint project by reading at least 5 facts about their saint. Meanwhile, our 7
th graders become living saint statues in our Saint Wax Museum, which is set up out in the St. Joseph parish center until 10:30 a.m. In order for our 7
th grade living saint statue to “come alive” and talk about the saint they depict, students drop money in their cup. All money earned is equally donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Feed My Starving Children, which the 7
th graders voted on as the recipients. It a fun and educational experience for our students, and we would be honored to share it with you. Bring your change to make our saints come alive!
