2016 Mission Trip

34 students and 7 chaperones participated in the Catholic Heart Work Camp at Holy Family Catholic School in Victoria, MN. Students were put into 5-7 member workteams who worked across the Twin Cities to paint houses, work in thrift shops, work with residents in assisted living or memory care facilities, furniture shops, the food group food packaging facility, and various other sites. We started each day with mass and ended each day with a program filled with music, skits, speakers, videos, and crazy games. Adoration & 4 Corners were significant prayer experiences throughout the week. Thanks to our outstanding chaperones: Kelli Larson, Shannon Prostrollo, Kendra Schroeder, Kara Martin, Bill Dublin, and Pat Fagan. Thanks also to the DeGrood family for the use of the van and for numerous other families for generous donations of snacks.
